According to the latest guidelines issued by the Chinese embassy in Nepal, a group consisting of at least five individuals is necessary in order to be granted a Tibet group visa. Furthermore, the original passport must be submitted as part of the visa application procedure in Kathmandu, which could take four to five official working days to finish.
In addition, applicants for a Tibet group visa must physically visit the China visa application center in order to submit their biometric data. Please be aware that rules and procedures regarding visas are subject to regular changes. Furthermore, it is crucial to remember that rules and criteria for visas for Tibet are subject to change.
