Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu and pickup from airport and drop in 3 start hotel in Kathmandu on BB plan.

Today you will be preparation for your trek. Our team will help you to get around town and look for your trek gears if required including trek maps. Rest you will have the whole day for yourself. You can go around Thamel area and enjoy local cuisine and meet local people.

After breakfast in the morning at your Kathmandu hotel, our journey starts. To go to the mountain town of Lukla, we'll hitchhike to the Kathmandu domestic airport and take a quick flight. Even though you're only taking a little trip, the Himalayan views outside your window will make this one of your most unforgettable flights ever. We should arrive at the small settlement of Phakding, our destination for the day, after only roughly four hours of hiking. We'll spend the night after settling into a teahouse or hiking lodge. You can spend the afternoon chatting with people this afternoon.

Our second day on the Everest Base Camp Trek begins with a walk through a lush wonderland of cool, shaded trees and hidden waterfalls following a hot breakfast. We'll traverse picturesque suspension bridges that dangle over the Dudh Koshi River's raging waters, and we'll catch our first glimpses of some of the highest peaks in the Himalayas, such as the snow-capped Thamserku (6,608 meters). Next, our route enters Sagarmatha National Park, a sizable region of breathtaking natural splendor that is named after Mount Everest in Sanskrit. We'll traverse a further set of suspension bridges after lunch before finally seeing Mount Everest. It's only a short distance to the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar. For our lodging this evening, we will select the greatest trekking lodge that is available.

It will be crucial to give our body time to acclimatize to the thinner atmosphere as we ascend higher and higher. We'll spend the day in Namche Bazaar, taking in all that this eccentric commercial hub has to offer as we adjust to the altitude. In fact, the town is renowned for its bakeries, which should be commended for creating delicious pastries even at high altitudes. In addition, you can go to the Sherpa Culture Museum or go on a quick walk to see the views from the Hotel Everest View or Syangboche Airport. You won't go hungry at Namche Bazaar, and your time there is never wasted, no matter how you decide to spend the day. We'll spend a second night in this town tonight at our lodge.

Following a substantial breakfast to bolster our bodies, we will shoulder our packs and head towards the slender mountaintop overlooking Namche Bazaar. Here is where you may view a special stupa that honors Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Thamserku and Kangtega, as well as a few other lesser-known but incredibly stunning Himalayan peaks, will soon come into sight. As the route gets closer to the Dudh Koshi waterway, it levels out. We will progressively start our rise through verdant rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche, taking in the breathtaking views as we go. In March and April, when trekking, the vibrant rhododendron blooms are a sight to behold. We'll check into a local teahouse once we get in Tengboche. The most famous and historically significant Buddhist gompa in Khumbu.

Today the Everest Base Camp Trek takes us through the communities of Dingboche, Somare, and Pangboche. Massive white mountains like as Ama Dablam and Lhotse dominate the horizon as we walk through delightful rhododendron forest and cross a long suspension bridge over the iridescent waters of the Imja Khola river. There are a tonne of mani stones stacked along the trailside as we get closer to Dingboche. Buddhist mantras are painted or carved on these rocks; as you pass, you should always keep them on your right. Ultimately, before reaching Dingboche, we will go across a vast area of terraced fields that are planted with potatoes and barley. Here, we will select a cosy lodge where we will stay for the following two nights.

On our Everest Base Camp Trek schedule, we have now arrived at the point where our bodies require an additional day to acclimatize to the higher altitude. The trekker's credo is "climb high, sleep low" as usual. This allows us to comfortably climb to Chukhung Village or Nagarjun Hill's breathtaking viewpoints before making our way down to Dingboche in the afternoon. Superb views of Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan summits can be had on either of these day treks. You should grab something to eat at one of the town's bakeries or cafes this evening. You'll look forward to creating wonderful memories of later sunsets over the wind-whipped summits of the Alps and the stone-walled terraces of Dingboche.

This morning, well adjusted and primed to resume our journey, we shall rise. The walk begins today with a moderate ascent via little communities and the settlements of temporary herders. You will pass by well-known mountains like Nuptse and Ama Dablam. Every one of these summits stands for yet another magnificent site along the figurative path leading to Mount Everest. We'll pause shortly after entering the small village of Dughla to pay our respects at a group of stupas built in memory of climbers who have lost their lives. After there, we will continue on to Lobuche, where we will spend the night. After all of our hard effort on the route today, a nice meal and a restful night's sleep at our teahouse would be much appreciated.

Gorak Shep has to be one of the most memorable names in the whole of the Khumbu, along with Namche Bazaar. We go across a stony glacier moraine in the morning to reach Gorak Shep. After stopping for a quick lunch, we'll continue on to Everest Base Camp. As we make our way towards our final destination down the rocky route, with the winds from the world's tallest mountain whispering in our ears, you can be sure that your stride will be lively. You'll have lots of time to take in the breathtaking view of the Himalayas that lies in front of us. Later, still glowing from our victory, we'll walk back to Gorak Shep to eat a triumphant dinner.

We are going to take full use of this momentum and climb up to the amazing vantage point of Kala Patthar. We will be able to take in 360-degree views of Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Taboche, Thamserku, and numerous other fabled Himalayan peaks and glaciers during this quick early-morning walk. You can even get a better view of Everest from here than you did from yesterday! We'll then make our way down to Gorak Shep for a leisurely breakfast before beginning the long journey back to Pheriche. This will be a comfortable and familiar route for us as we have already trekked this portion of the trail in the opposite direction. It will take us to another quaint teahouse and another hot supper.

We start our morning with a leisurely descent down to Namche Bazaar across trees covered with rhododendron. After a few hours of hiking, we will arrive at the Imja Khola river and break for lunch at Tengboche. Although taking pictures inside is prohibited, the sights you witness will leave a lasting impression on your mind. When we're ready to resume our journey, we'll pass through verdant hills and blustery ridgelines to return to Namche Bazaar. This evening, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy some shopping before supper. Namche has a great selection of unique gifts and curios. Our penultimate night on the Everest Base Camp Trek will be spent in yet another cosy teahouse.

Our trip on the Everest Base Camp Trek comes to an end today. We start a hard descent via several little settlements, our first night on the route being at Phakding. Your final views of the picturesque Khumbu wilderness will be from the vantage point of several suspension bridges, so be sure to take in the breathtaking views of riverine valleys and forested slopes. We'll eat a festive dinner together when we finally make it back to Lukla and consider how the Everest Base Camp Trek changed our lives. The more daring among us will relish the opportunity to spend more time exploring the eccentric town of Lukla; just make sure you get enough sleep for tomorrow's early flight!

Our flight return to Kathmandu will depart as dawn breaks over the Khumbu. This last evening in Kathmandu is a fantastic chance to indulge in some exquisite dining at one of the many excellent restaurants in the city and pick up some last-minute mementos. We'll make sure to bring you back to the airport in time for your departure flight if you're continuing your journey in the morning. We will be pleased to help you with any ongoing travel plans if you plan to remain in Nepal. In any case, we have enjoyed having you stay with us during your Everest Base Camp Trek and we hope to have you return soon!
