If you’re searching for a great short trip in the Khumbu region, the 9-day Everest Panorama trip is the route for you. Trekkers from all over the world are drawn to Nepal’s Khumbu or Everest region. It is home to treks such as the Gokyo Lake Trek, the Everest Base Camp Trek, and the Everest Three Pass Trek, among others.

These walks all take you beyond 5,000 metres in altitude. For example, Kala Patthar (5545m) is the view point of Everest Base Camp. Gokyo Ri (5400m) is the same location as Gokyo, while Renjo La (5340m), Kongma La (5550m), and Cho La (5420m) are the elevations of the three passes. The altitude and the difficulty of these hikes are two things they have in common.

“Is there any way to avoid these challenges and yet explore the Everest region?” may be your question. The Everest Panorama Trek is the route, and the answer is indeed affirmative. Trekking to Everest Base Camp is primarily done for the breathtaking vistas of massive peaks like Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest. And the Everest Panorama Trek effectively achieves that goal. Not only does it finish in nine days, but it won’t push you to unmanageable heights.

Itinerary

Today you will be preparation for your trek. Our team will help you to get around town and look for your trek gears if required including trek maps. Rest you will have the whole day for yourself. You can go around Thamel area and enjoy local cuisine and meet local people.

After eating breakfast and getting dressed early, you will head to the airport.

It takes roughly 30 minutes to reach Lukla by plane. You will be able to see the magnificent Himalayan range, stately hills, and stunning valleys on this picturesque ride. The aircraft touches down at Lukla's Tenzing Hillary Airport.

You will cross the Thado Koshi River on a suspension bridge and make your way to Phakding village. You also pass via the village of Gha, where you may see a stunning vista of Mt. Kusum Kanguru. You can go to Phakding for your overnight stay by walking for three to four hours.

You will travel to the Khumbu region's capital today. The trail will lead you on a gentle ascent uphill as you leave Phakding.

When strolling in clear weather, you can also see the towering Mount Everest in the distance. This section is well-known for offering a close-up view of several summits, such as Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Everest. Additionally, you will travel over Dudh Koshi on the Hillary Suspension Bridge before arriving at Namche Bazaar.

One of the main destinations, this well-known Sherpa settlement is magnificent on its own. In addition to the scenery, it is well-known for its Tibetan stores and stalls, local eateries, bakeries, and guest rooms in abundance.

The biggest town in the Everest region is Namche Bazaar. You should use today as a rest day to enable your body adjust to the rising altitude.

You will wander across the neighbouring areas, including the 3900-meter-high Shangbouche Hill. You will be rewarded with breathtaking vistas of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and possibly Everest if you can reach the summit in time.

Visit the traditional Sherpa Museum (3555m), which offers a wealth of information about Sagarmatha National Park and the Everest region, as well as depictions of Sherpa culture. There is a statue of Tenzing Norgay that you will come across.

After leaving Namche, the first part of your Everest Panorama Trek will take you to Thame village. Situated in Khumbu, it marks the terminus of the ancient Tibetan trading route that stretches from Tingri to Nangpa La. From Namche, you will be walking 9.7km on an excellent track.

There are plenty of things to explore once you get in Thame. The town is located beneath the Kongde Peak's mountain wall. There will be a calm, highland ambience. The ancient Thame monastery is yet another attraction here.

We will be travelling to Khumjung, a stunning community in the Khumbu region, today, which is our next stop. The routes leading to Tesi Lapcha Pass (5755m), Renjo La (5345m), and Nangpa La (5716m) are seen along the route. There's no doubt that you need more days here. However, given their path passes through Thame, you can learn more about the nearby trails.

You will follow a rocky trail next to a riverbed as you leave Thame. Subsequently, you will ascend a picturesque hill that leads through an alpine woodland abundant with juniper, pine, and cypress trees. Your travel will be more enjoyable because of the scent of these plants.

You will stop for lunch in Phurte village, which you will pass on the route. The routes next cross the Syangboche airfield and lead you to your day's destination, a tough 250-meter climb uphill. At last, you will arrive in Khumjung.

Khumjung village's magnificent monasteries, stony fields with picturesque scenery, and rock walls are its main attractions. Also, the Khumjung monastery is home to Yeti Scalp. According to folklore, the artefact originated from one of the despicable snowmen found in the Himalayas. For further investigation, there is also the storied Khumjung Hillary School.

Tengboche, one of the biggest monasteries in this area, is where we're going today. The trail is now well-known for its breathtaking vistas of Ama Dablam, Kantega, Everest, and Lhotse. You can search Sagarmatha National Park for uncommon plants and animals.

You'll pass Phunki Thanga and cross a river after a few hours. After that, you'll ascend a ridge covered in vibrant rhododendrons. We will soon arrive at Tengboche Monastery, which offers the greatest views of Ama Dablam.

The monastery is situated in a breathtaking setting full of vibrant pines, rhododendrons, and azaleas. You can receive the blessing of living Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist spiritual teacher, in addition to the stroll. You can participate in their gathering, ceremonial dances, and enchantments like mythical figures during celebrations like Mani Rimdu. You can choose from a variety of lodging alternatives, including teahouses, lodges, and camping.

You will begin to descend as the adventure draws to a close and you will find yourself retracing your ways. You'll descend using the same route as before. All along the trip, the stunning mountain range will serve as the backdrop. This will make the steep, uneven rocky descents easier for you. If you stick to those routes, you should be in Namche in four to five hours.

Namche still has a tonne of things to do. Now that your journey is almost over, you can rejoice in its accomplishment. The world's tallest Irish pub is located in Namche. The bar is the ideal location for the party. Similarly, you might go for strolls in the evening and purchase mementos for your dear ones.

Your Everest Panorama journey comes to a conclusion after seven days of touring the best sights in the Khumbu region. The following day, you will walk from Namche to Lukla before boarding a flight. There will be both ascents and descents on the trails today. You will ascend a difficult hill in the last part of the journey before arriving at Lukla. You get to see beautiful vistas of mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and little Sherpa communities (at Phakding) along some of the paths.

You're going to fly early in the morning to Kathmandu. You will see and say goodbye to Khumbu's magnificent mountain ranges. It is, after all, your last day in this area. It will take you approximately thirty minutes to reach Kathmandu. In your hotel, you will have lunch and rest for a bit.

You have the remainder of the day to yourself, so you may plan. We are able to alter the schedule to fit your schedule here at Adventure Journey Trek. You can therefore schedule a tour of Kathmandu's cultural landmarks. After that, you'll make plans for a knowledgeable local guide. In the same way, you can hang out with your pals in any restaurant, bar, or pub of your choosing.
