Langtang Valley Trek is one of the spectacularly rewarding short treks one can find while Trekking in Nepal. This trek takes you to the remote and amazing valley of Langtang. This valley is dominated by Mt. Langtang Lirung, the highest peak in this area. There is wide range of sceneary, tropical to alpine diverse vegetation, fascinating unspoiled Tibetan infulenced culture and villages. It is a points such as Kyanjing Ri (4600m) and Tsergo Ri (4984m) leading all the way to the habitat of rare Himalayan species called red panda. There are also facinating view top commanding a breath-taking view of wide Himalayan range.

Overview

This trail offers breathtaking views of the mountains and breathtaking scenery. Trekking in the Langtang Valley, home to over a thousand flora, 150 species of birds, and many other creatures, is highly popular. It offers experienced hikers and beginners alike a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Beautiful Langtang Valley is located north of Kathmandu. Another national park, Langtang covers 1710 square kilometres. In addition, it was the first national park in the Himalayas. The trail is less travelled and the area is sparsely populated. Thus, the walk is a quiet, solitary experience among stunning scenery and traditional communities. It is thought that someone found the valley while searching for his misplaced yak. It was properly named Langtang, since tang means to follow and lang signifies yak in Tibetan. One of the genuine treasures of Nepal’s Himalayan region is the Langtang Valley, with its gorgeous scenery, comfortable temperatures, simple paths, and traditional ways of living.

Trekking in the Langtang Valley offers breathtaking natural and cultural diversity. woodland of pine, bamboo, and rhododendron. Eberly River, craggy cliffs, and snow-covered summits. Meadows and grassy downs to Daisies. Wild Premolar, calming hot springs, and magnificent waterfalls cascading above enormous boulders.

Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu and pickup from airport and drop in 3 start hotel in Kathmandu on BB plan.

Today you will be preparation for your trek. Our team will help you to get around town and look for your trek gears if required including trek maps. Afterwards, we will be doing a half day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. This will include Kathmandu Durbar Square which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards we will visit the significant Buddhist pilgrimage Swoyambhunath Stupa. If you have free time, you can go around Thamel area and enjoy local cuisine and meet local people.

After breakfast, we set out early in the morning to drive up to Syabrubeshi by jeep, which takes roughly five to six hours. We go along the picturesque banks of the Trishuli River, taking in the breathtaking vistas of mountains, rivers, valleys, and meadows. At 1460 metres, we will arrive at our destination, check into the hotel, and stay the night.

Immediately following breakfast, the day's walk begins. The trail climbs for around two hours at first, and then it climbs for an additional hour to a bamboo village where we will have lunch. Then, as we go along flat trails, we see a variety of local bird species and beehives perched on cliffs. Before we can finally get at the Lama Hotel, where we will spend the night, we must undertake a hard ascent once more.

We reach Ghoda Tabela after a three-hour stroll through forests of pine and rhododendron. We may appreciate the area's thick woodlands and herbs after eating lunch here. Finally, after another three to four hours of walking over a beautiful track, we arrive at the Langtang valley, where we will spend the night.

As we will be taking a leisurely stroll to visit the Kyangjin Gompa at a height of 3817 metres, today is more akin to a relaxation day. The Gompa, the trek's last stop, is a tranquil and lovely location where we may enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Ganchhenpo and Mt. Langtang Lirung. The main draws of this quick journey are the cheese factory, the monasteries, and the traditional local homes.

Enjoying the Gompa area's natural beauty and tranquilly is the focus of this day. We can savour the tranquil surroundings and the breathtaking views of the mountains. We can also hike to the 5150-meter-high Tsergo Ri, which will lead us to the Langtang glacier and the stunning Langshisha Kharka yak pasture. This is a really difficult day. We will return to Kyanjin Gompa along the same route, staying the night at the same hotel.

Today, we will enjoy a leisurely walk along the picturesque trail as we return to Rimche from Kyanjin Gompa. Day two of the Langtang trek's last stretch. Walking down is much easier than walking up. You'll relish the stroll back.

Today, we retrace our travels through the forests of rhododendron and bamboo till we arrive at Syabrubeshi. It only takes four to five hours for this stroll to be completed. Spend the evening in a nearby lodge in Sybrubesi. Savour your final meal with the guide and porter. You will take a bus back to Kathmandu the following day.

We depart early in the morning to return to Kathmandu after breakfast by jeep. We can spend the evening exploring the tourist attractions in the nation's capital or browsing souvenir shops in Thamel.
